Hearing Depot Product Highlight ... The Alertmaster System

A knock at the door. The phone ringing. Your baby crying. The peal of your smoke detector. These are only a few of the sounds that are important for you to be aware of your surroundings - for communication and safety. But what if you can't hear them?
For someone with a hearing impairment it may be difficult to be aware of these tones without the help of an alerting or signalling system. There are many different devices on the market that use flashing lights or vibrations to replace auditory signals in the home environment. One product that we really like is the Alertmaster system.
The Alertmaster is a completely customizable alerting system that flashes indicator lights on the base unit and optional receivers. You can be alerted with a flashing lamp or an optional personal receiver, which you can carry with you in your pocket or on your belt. This receiver gives you the freedom to be inside or outside, up to 80 feet away from the base unit. The lighted icons on the base unit and remote receiver let you know exactly where the source of the sound is and represent: a door, phone, alarm clock, baby sound, audible alarm and the motion sensor.
The Alertmaster 6000 system comes with the base unit that has a built in alarm clock, a bed vibrator, a doorbell transmitter and a remote receiver. You can add on to your system by purchasing optional transmitters for the door announcer, motion sensor, baby sound monitor, audio alarm transmitter and personal signallers. The audio alarm transmiter can be used to monitor your smoke detector, timer or any other audible alarm.
The Alertmaster system is easy to install, taking only minutes to set up. Just plug in the base unit and plug your lamp and your phone line into the console. The doorbell can easily be attached to your door and the bed shaker works great to wake you from a deep sleep.
